On Sunday we blessed Mia at church. We had even more family come to the blessing than were there at the sealing so it was really special! She wore a dress that has been passed down the family line and each girl who is blessed in it gets her name embroidered in the hem. I love the tradition of it and plus the dress is incredible! Mom and Grandma Rutter made it over 25 years ago and it's still perfect! Soon Amelia's name will join the 5 other names already on the dress!

At the blessing Amelia had a very special gift with her. On her wrist was the bracelet from her birthAunt but she also had with her a blanket- the same blanket that her birthMother, Meri, had with her when she was blessed. It meant the world to me to have it with us on her day!
