Eight years ago in August...

.....Brad and I were engaged!

I kind of have a thing for remembering dates and although the specific day has passed, I wanted to celebrate with you the anniversary of our engagement. The day that started it all. The memory of it always makes me smile because it highlights our youth and our love for each other. This is what our wedding announcements looked like. Brad's Mom took a picture of us in her yard (in the "secret garden") and then I photo-shopped it to make it into an announcement. Looking back, I don't know that I would have changed anything eventhough I have seen some really exceptionally fun announcements.
