Christmas Pics

Christmas time was lovely and kind of drawn-out. It was perfect. We did a little here and a little there the whole month of December.

Christmas Cookies with Mom...

The ward Christmas program was a highlight. Mia and her friend H

 Mia, making me food before dinner in her favorite minnie mouse pajamas. She insisted on wearing the ears and was just so stinkin cute I could hardly stand it!

Brad and I were able to both take off work to go to her Christmas Program at the preschool. She was shy at first, but ended with gusto, I loved it! She made a calendar for us- it was our first gift from her and is proudly hung up right now.

After the program we went for pizza and she got to pick out a candy from their tree

 

We have gotten so.much.snow. it's unbelievable. She loves it, though, she's a total snow girl. It cracks me up how she just begs for it. Next year: ski lessons!

The girls were so excited to see each other when we got to Oregon that we let them open their gifts to each other a day early. Mia and Ev got matching sleeping bags from Cabela's- something they can use and have fun with as they get older! Lots of Daddy/Daughter and family camping trips are in our future!

I wish you could have heard their giggles :)

Christmas morning was peaceful and we opened our stockings and played games. Later, the rest of the extended family came over and we opened all the gifts under the tree. Those memories of the quiet morning together will always be extra special to me

We must have brought the snow with us because it so rarely snows in So.Oregon like it did while we were there and while we were trying to leave. Mia was in heaven
