We have been wanting to get updated family pictures for awhile now but with our schedules, it's been a challenge. Plus moving to a new area and not really knowing who to go to- it took some time to find the person we wanted. Overall, we're super happy with the way they turned out! Mia had a hard time during the session...there were A LOT of people there and that was pretty distracting for her. She thought we were there to play with all the other families and kids that were getting their pictures taken haha.
One of the biggest reasons we got our pictures done though is because we are again moving forward with our application to adopt! It's an exciting and exhausting time as we work, come home, eat & play with Mia, put her to bed, then spend the remaining evening working on our profile, questions, and the many hours of adoption training required. I wouldn't say we are "in a hurry" to adopt but we are trying to get our profile done by December 31st when all the adoption changes are happening with LDSFS.
Mia is as spunky and fun as ever and I think these pictures captured the sweet, inquisitive, loving, and spirited little girl that she is!
This picture pretty much sums it up! We were going crazy trying to get her to just look forward and so we thought it would make her laugh to be upside down. Nope. Still looking at the family in the distance with the little kids. haha. Ohhhh my sweet, very distracted, daughter!
